Photographed while Mourning assisted a National Geographic photographer at the earliest stages of her career and the image which set her on course to become a working artist. In honor of the big move to Roscoe, Montana twenty five years later, Mourning printed this image on canvas and began to embroider Starseed which is really, why she is there.
